  one of those increasingly rare outdoor shops that actually sells proper outdoor gear! camping hammocks, hand-smithed Swedish axes, Tentipis, and worthwhile clothing brands like Paramo, Rab, and Fjallraven, this place is a real treasure trove for the outdoor enthusiast. staff are very knowledgeable and friendly too.

  Whilst out for a days cycling, I called in to this shop to ask if there was a second cycle shop in town as I had a puncture and the main cycle shop was shut. The staff were so helpful, they brought in my bike and were prepared to help me mend the puncture or change the tube. Unfortunately it requires a specialist pump so despite their willingness, it could not be mended. However the silver lining to the cloud was that I browsed for almost an hour waiting for my husband to collect me and brought myself walking trousers and two paramo tops, one a fleece with a full length zip. Very happy with the helpful friendly service and the range f clothing
